Week in Review: Bob McCarty Website Does Not Shut Down!

Failures in Washington, D.C., did not shut down operations here.  Instead, it was a busy and productive week at BobMcCarty.com!

On Sunday, I shared video of the meeting Gov. Rick Perry (R-Texas) had with reporters following his noon-hour speech to attendees at CPAC Saint Louis 2013.  Among other things, he talked about Texas’ Voter ID law, jobs and the government shutdown.

On Monday, I shared video of an interview I gave Duane Lester, founder of The Missouri Torch, about my book, THE CLAPPER MEMO.

On Tuesday, I shared news about a federal judge’s 44-page ruling that requires Attorney General Eric Holder to produce “Fast and Furious” documents.  In addition, I highlighted House Democrat Leader Nancy Pelosi‘s apathy toward those who serve in the U.S. military.

On Wednesday, I invited casualties of the “War on Men in the Military” to take exams via which they can proclaim their innocence.  In addition, I had the opportunity to talk politics and about THE CLAPPER MEMO during talk radio appearances with Dana Loesch, the conservative firebrand host of FM NewsTalk 97.1‘s The Dana Show and Lisa Payne-Naeger, host of Missouri Grassroots Radio.

On Thursday, I highlighted a technology that deserved to die 10 years ago but is still being relied upon by the Department of Defense.

On Friday, I shared news about my inquiry into claims that the U.S. Government wasted $47 million building a camp that didn’t meet the security requirements of U.S. Army Special Forces and, today, sits unused in Afghanistan.

About BobMcCarty

A native of Enid, Oklahoma, Bob McCarty graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in journalism in 1984. During the next two decades, he served stints as an Air Force public affairs officer, a political campaign manager, a technology sales consultant and a public relations professional. Today, Bob spends most of his time researching topics, writing about them and publishing those writings. When he’s not writing online, he’s working as an author. Bob’s first published book, Three Days In August: A U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier’s Fight For Military Justice (October 2011), chronicles the life story and wrongful conviction of Sgt. 1st Class Kelly A. Stewart, a highly-decorated Green Beret combat veteran. In his second book, THE CLAPPER MEMO (May 2013), Bob connects the dots between a memo signed by James R. Clapper Jr. — the man now serving as our nation’s top intelligence official — and the deaths of dozens of Americans in Afghanistan at the hands of our so-called Afghan “allies” wearing the uniforms of their nation’s military, police and security forces. Bob is married, has three sons and lives in the St. Louis area. Bob is available for media and blogger interviews. Simply drop a comment here, leaving your name, organization, phone number, e-mail address and area of interest. He’ll try to respond as soon as possible.
