Could it be true that several prominent polygraph examiners in California are ending their relationships with the American Polygraph Association?
1. The over-politicized nature of the organization is getting in the way of their search for truth using the best tools available; and
2. A research paper about the proven effectiveness of a non-polygraph challenger to their century-old credibility assessment technology is “killing them.”
Though I know I’ll receive hate mail from avowed polygraph loyalists for sharing this grapevine gossip, I remain convinced after four years of exhaustive investigation that the findings of the aforementioned report — which I highlighted in a piece last month — are accurate. Painfully accurate. The findings are so accurate, in fact, that I believe they could prompt a mass exodus from the APA.
But don’t take my word for it. Decide for yourself!
Details of the research paper’s findings are highlighted in Chapter 22 of my latest nonfiction book, THE CLAPPER MEMO. Available in paperback and ebook versions, it comes highly recommended and would make a great Christmas gift for that special someone who has everything.
