Today, Bob spends most of his time researching topics, writing about them and publishing those writings.  When he’s not writing online, he’s working as an author.

Bob’s first published book, Three Days In August (October 2011), chronicles the life story and wrongful conviction of Sgt. 1st Class Kelly A. Stewart, a highly-decorated Green Beret combat veteran.

In his second book, THE CLAPPER MEMO (May 2013), Bob connects the dots between a memo signed by James R. Clapper Jr. — the man now serving as our nation’s top intelligence official — and the deaths of dozens of Americans in Afghanistan at the hands of our so-called Afghan “allies” wearing the uniforms of their nation’s military, police and security forces.

Bob is married, has three sons and lives in the St. Louis area.

  2. I noticed you don’t have factcheck.org on your reference list. How come?

    Can we say “straight talk”?

I think not. Even most of your t-shirts are bald-faced lies.

You need to at least search for a sense of humor, ya know?

  3. Screw moderation. You should try practicing it yourself. I don’t care if my response gets on here or not. It won’t make one whit of difference anyway. I just feel better having said it.

  4. Wow, that “Bury Obama” promotion gives me the creeps.

I’m sure your sales will go way up if some racist nut does murder Obama.

  5. Hi Bob,
I have been looking around your site and see lots of interesting stuff. I asked yesterday what a teabagger is (in the pejorative sense) and was apparently thought quite an idiot for not knowing. I’m apparently grossly out of touch, because I’m about to ask another probably idiotic question: among the links you have is one t-shirts and other items that say “Halo Hermit” on them. On the linked-to website, it says things about “disappearing for days and weeks at a time”. This is obviously a joke, but I don’t get it. Can you explain?

  6. Kids play a game called “HALO”. Kids who play too much are likely to confine themselves to a basement or game room for days at a time, like hermits; hence, the term “HALO HERMIT”. Hope that clears things up. Thanks!

  7. Bob, you’ve got a great site..looks like you’ve had some great success here. Joel Berry commended you to us – Tavin is a “spokesperson” for our company and we have personal ties to Joel and his wife, I see you’re a fan as well.
    Best, Brian

  8. Hello Bob. Love your site. I met you one time at the early stages of the Hwy. K & N sight.

I was at the card/party store down in the valley in Chesterfield on Wed. and I found these little jet planes and you wouldn’t believe (you probably would) the logo on the wings of each…..UN. Not the USAF, but the UN. Outraged!!!

  9. I am very proud to have my Certificate of Naturalization (US Citizenship) signed by the first black (depending from the viewing angle) US President, but so disappointed that him and his comrades want to destroy and change what America was born to be and what it stands for.
Maybe it’s a way to deter immigration… nobody will like the new America after all.

  10. Bob,
First, let me thank you for taking on the issues you do. I have read many articles regarding the “sexual assault/exploitation” of women in the military (AF lately), and shake my head in disbelief. I was a Commissioned Officer (Ret O-5) for 23 years in the AF. While flirting certainly did go on, never once did I ever feel threatenend, in any way. I have known (military and civilian) women who were far from saintly and would do things out of vindictiveness to destroy a spurned lover’s career, including lying. In the military, I spent time overseas, as well as living in field conditions during the Iraq war (I am a nurse) where there were about 100 women and 3000 men in our camp. I always felt our senior leaders were very protective of us. I am not implying that sexual assault does not go on. It does and it needs to be dealt with no different than the civilian system. I do not however, believe it is the rampant issue that the media would lead one to believe. It seems that to be a male in the military implies instant guilt when a female makes an accusation of sexual-anything. I find this very disturbing. It is akin to the old “witch hunts”. The accused men deserve the same defense as those tried in a civilian court, and I’m not convinced that is happening.
When I read the reports re: General Craig Franklin, I immediately knew that if General Franklin felt like the accused was innocent, he did what he needed to do, irregardless of what is polically correct (Sen McCaskill). My husband and I have been acquaintances with Gen. Franklin professionally for many years. You will not meet a man with a deeper sense of loyalty and integrity than him. It disgusts me that people such as Senator McCaskill are making an issue of a decision he was entitled to make and did so according to his knowledge and his integrity. I applaud him for do the “right” thing, not the current “polically correct” one. Thank you for taking a stand on behalf of those who may otherwise have no support. Charlotte J. Fulton

  11. Bob,

You cleary know alot about various “lie detectors” and this voice stress option really facinates me. Could you by any chance provide me with any cites in the scientific literature for peer reviewed, replicated studies on the accuracy of voice stress? I have found tons of peer reviewed material on polygraph (both pro and con), but I was unable to locate anything peer reviewed and replicated on voice stress.

    Thanks…

  12. Thanks Bob, I saw the book listed on Amazon. That is what led me to your site. On contraversal subjects I try to look at the science when I can. If the scientific citations I am looking for are in there, that would be fantastic.

    Thanks again…

  13. Yes, it’s all in there, Keith. I hope you and your colleagues at the National Center for Credibility Assessment — yes, it shows up when you leave a comment — learn from it.

  14. No problem, Bob. BTW, I am going to buy the book and if you don’t mind, will probably donate it to the NCCA library once I am done with it…

  15. Yes, I am still an instructor here. I have also done a bit of research, to include research into areas other then traditional polygraph testing. I have a strong interest in all areas of credibility assessment. The vehicle for getting there is not important if I can see it works.

Bob, I have looked at quite a bit of the literature on voice stress and I just can’t find anything that meets what is considered traditional replicated scientific tests for accuracy, reliability, etc for voice stress. I agree polygraph is contraversal (okay, an understatement), but at least there exists a fairly significant body of research. Look, I’m not attacking here, I’m just making an observation.

I did buy your book BTW, and I will read it, promise.
