If not for the large number of above-ground power lines partially-obstructing my view of it, I probably would have ignored the Ameren UE billboard (click image below to enlarge) which touts “BURYING POWER LINES UNDER GROUND.”

It appears the Big Bad Weather Wolf has blown through St. Louis again in the form of an afternoon thunderstorm. As a result, according to KMOX News, more than 38,000 42,000 Ameren UE customers are now without power, facing yet another unspecified length of time without electricity.
