Missouri Doctor Says ‘CDC IS LYING!’

A Missouri doctor wore head-to-toe protective gear as he walked through Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport this morning, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution report. On his back were the handwritten words, “CDC IS LYING!”

Dr. Gil Mobley, described in the article as a microbiologist and emergency trauma physician from Springfield, Mo., was quoted as saying, “If they’re not lying, they are grossly incompetent,” and he’s not alone as public concern over Ebola in the United States grows following the announcement earlier this week that a Liberian man in Dallas tested positive for the deadly virus.

According to Mike Adams, author of a Natural News report published yesterday, all the disinformation being spread about Ebola by the U.S. government and the complicit mass media will unfortunately make the Ebola pandemic far worse. That’s because the public isn’t being told the truth about how Ebola spreads and how individuals can help prevent transmission of the disease. Considering the doctor was walking around in head-to-toe protective equipment, it might urge some citizens to think about getting themselves face masks as well as other protective gear to further ensure their personal safety, as well as the health of those around them.

Michael T. Osterholm, author of a piece that appeared in The New York Times three weeks ago, shared his belief that public officials don’t want to be accused of screaming “Fire!” in a crowded theater – as I’m sure some will accuse me of doing. But the risk is real, and until we consider it, the world will not be prepared to do what is necessary to end the epidemic. But what does he know as director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota? Forgive my sarcasm.

Pay attention, folks, and don’t be afraid to ask tough questions. Your life might depend on it.
