HEALTH CARE: There’s a Target on Your Back!

One year ago today, I published a post in which I reported that President Barack Obama had yielded to public pressure and dropped his plan to charge wounded war veterans for their treatment.  Little did I realize that the president, then still enjoying his “First 100 Daze”, was merely adjusting his sights and taking aim at a much larger population:

But what are you doing?

Obama Visit Brings Back Not-So-Special Memories

The last time President Barack Obama visited a Saint Louis-area high school, I was there.  Outside Arnold High School.  Almost 11 months ago.  Marking what I had labeled his “First 100 Daze”  in office.  Tomorrow, I plan to be outside — or, at a minimum, somewhere nearby — Saint Charles High School when #44 comes to talk about health care reform.

Why?  Because the mood, evident in the videos below which I produced after spending the day amidst well-known national tea partiers like Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit fame and Dana Loesch of Dana Radio (and so much more), is always energetic around a presidential visit.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Be advised the two videos above represent my first attempts at producing protest/rally/activism videos.  I’ve made more than three-dozen more since then.

Hundreds Attend St. Louis Protest, Media Ignores

On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh mentioned the fact that the news media ignored the hundreds of people who attended the “First 100 Daze” protest that coincided with President Barack Obama’s town hall meeting Wednesday at Fox High School in Arnold, Mo., outside St. Louis.  It’s true!

Some 500 people — most of whom are members of  The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition — showed up at the venue 20 minutes southwest of St. Louis.  Moreover, most of them showed up more than an hour in advance of the president’s 10:20 “love fest.”

For proof of what “El Rushbo” said, watch the following videos I shot on scene at the rally:

The video above is the second published today to document the “First 100 Daze” protest staged this morning by members of The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition and other radical right-wingers outside Fox High School in Arnold, Mo.

As the protest was taking place, President Barack Obama was holding a town hall meeting inside the St. Louis-area school.

I attended the “First 100 Daze” protest outside Fox High School in Arnold, Mo., this morning.  The video above shows many of the nearly 500 protesters, most of whom were members of the St. Louis Tea Party Coalition, who came out to vent their anger as President Obama was holding a town hall meeting inside the St. Louis-area school.

More videos will be forthcoming.

Tea Party Protesters Outnumber Obama Supporters 10 to 1 During Presidential Visit to St. Louis Area (Updated)

I just returned home from this morning’s “First 100 Daze” Protest protest staged by members of The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition and other radical right-wingers to greet President Barack Obama when he arrived at Fox High School in Arnold, Mo., southwest of St. Louis.  Incredibly, Obama supporters were outnumbered at least 10 to 1 by members of the coalition — people who were against big government spending, ever-increasing tax burdens and overall poor stewardship of the nation.

Stay tuned as I will have several reports today.

‘First 100 Daze’ Protest to Greet Obama in St. Louis

First 100 Daze Protest 4-29-09

Barack Obama’s Left Me In A “First 100 Daze.” That’s the message I’ll be carrying when I join members of The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition and other radical right-wingers tomorrow protesting President Barack Obama — and what the New York Post described yesterday as 100 Days, 100 Mistakes — during his town hall meeting tomorrow at 10:20 a.m. Central at Fox High School in Arnold, Mo.

Protesters are asked to meet up across from Fox High School near the Big Lots at 9:15 a.m. There are parking spaces near the school.

FYI: Fox High School is off of Interstate 55 south of Highway 255 in Arnold, Mo.  Click here for a map offering directions to the school.
