The National Post is reporting that a prominent climate scientist and insider at the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change misled the press and public into believing that thousands of scientists backed its claims on man-made global warming. The Canadian publication cites Mike Hulme as stating in a recent academic paper that the actual [...]

New TV Spot Says ‘Thank You, Cows’
May 28th, 2010 · No Comments
With cows receiving a lot of blame in recent years for allegedly contributing to global warming via their flatulence, I thought I would share a new television spot, “Thank you, cows”, that caught my attention this morning. Produced by British dairy producer Müller, it made me think of wearing a CO2ws t-shirt. Hat tip: AgWired

Inhofe Declares Kerry-Lieberman Bill ‘Dead’ (Update)
May 12th, 2010 · 1 Comment
Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) made a lot of good points during a Fox Business interview with Stuart Varney this morning. Most importantly, Senator Inhofe explained that the Kerry-Lieberman Global Warming Bill is basically another form of cap-and-trade legislation and that it’s dead before it hits the U.S. Senate. On offshore drilling in the wake of [...]

Senators Introduce NEPA Certainty Act
April 20th, 2010 · No Comments
Three U.S. senators just introduced new legislation concerning national environmental policy. It’s designed, according to the description found on page one of the bill, “To prohibit the use of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 to document, predict, or mitigate the climate effects of specific Federal actions.” I found out about it via this [...]

Beef Cattle Industry Fighting Back Against EPA
April 7th, 2010 · No Comments
The prices of everything from hamburgers to filet mignon are going to rise, thanks to the efforts of people at the Environmental Protection Agency who, it appears, didn’t receive the memo that global warming climate change had been proven to be a hoax at best and, more accurately, a crime against humanity. In an effort [...]

‘Warmin’ Church’ in Decline After Three-Year Run
March 13th, 2010 · 2 Comments
Three years after I broke news about “The Warmin’ Church” and the fact that members of the church founded by former Vice President Al Gore refer to themselves as the “Hotter Days Saints,” church attendance has dwindled. Behind the decline of the Church of Hotter Days Saints is the fact that global warming is last [...]
