It’s not often that this blogger agrees with labor union officials, but today I find myself in agreement with the International Association of Machinists on the matter of the Pentagon’s questionable awarding of a contract to to Northrop Grumman/EADS Airbus for delivery of the Air Force’s next-generation aerial refueling aircraft.

Yesterday, the Pentagon announced it has chosen a bid from Northrop Grumman and the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company, which is based in France, instead of the KC-767 Advanced Tanker from Boeing, which is based in Chicago.
