Phil Hare’s ‘Year of Foolishness’ Revisited
October 25th, 2010 · 10 Comments
Barely one week before election day, it’s time to review what I like to call the “year of foolishness” lived out loud by U.S. Rep. Phil Hare, a liberal Democrat running for reelection in Illinois’ 17th Congressional District. On Dec. 16, 2009, Hare told Chris Matthews’ MSNBC audience he would welcome terrorists from Guantanamo Bay [...]

‘One Nation’ Proves ObamaCare Bad for America
October 2nd, 2010 · 2 Comments
If you’re still not convinced that ObamaCare is bad for Americans, pay attention to what transpired Saturday in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Communists, Marxists, progressives, socialists and others of the liberal stripe gathered in the nation’s capitol for “One Nation Working Together,” an astroturf-intensive rally described by its organizers as an [...]

Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flatulence
September 18th, 2010 · 1 Comment
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery — or, in this case, flatulence, courtesy of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert at Comedy Central. When the Liberal Left can’t muster crowds anywhere close in size to those assembled by the Tea Party Movement and Glenn Beck, they turn to television comedians to stage counter events. When [...]

Strong Turnout for Missouri Anti-Socialism Rally
May 22nd, 2010 · 4 Comments
Great weather produced a strong turnout Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Highways K and N in O’Fallon, Mo. Nearly 100 freedom-loving Americans waved at passing motorists while decrying almost every policy pushed by President Barack Obama and his liberal allies. The video above captures the basics of the rally.

Obama’s Approval Rating Hovers at All-Time Low
April 21st, 2010 · No Comments
President Barack Obama’s job approval, which bounced slightly to a 45 – 46 percent split March 25 in the wake of his health care victory, has flattened out at 44 – 46 percent, his lowest approval rating since his inauguration, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today. Most interesting to me is the [...]

Robin ‘Coakley’ Carnahan in Cahoots With ACORN
February 22nd, 2010 · 1 Comment
Sometimes, it’s too easy to post political “dirt” on liberal Democrats like Robin “Coakley” Carnahan. A recently-released television spot (below) produced by the Missouri Republican Party reveals everything Missouri voters need to know about the U.S. Senate wannabe now serving as secretary of state for the Show-Me State (i.e., “She’s in cahoots with ACORN!”).
